Hi

Just wanted to run this past you ....

I always wet prep new clients or clients that have obvious cuticle build up, however for clients that regulary have re balances every 2/3 weeks ( with no obv build up) could I just dry prep???

If so, how exact do you do a dry prep.... And will it damage the nail????

Just curious to see if you all wet prep each and every time???

Sanitize
Cuticle Pusher/Curette
Remove Shine
Double Check cuticle and sidewall lines with 240g fine wood centre file
Dehydrate

Good to hear how other geeks dry prep:hug:

I dry prep with the ezflow pro pusher with no nail damage and no problem with lifting.

I have stated many times that I do a dry prep on regular clients ... always have done ... and I don't damage nails.

If the cuticle build up was such that I had to 'dig it off' and cause possible damage then I would do a wet prep (as I do on all new clients).

Same here...I only do a wet prep if its needed...same as i only remove shine if there is shine to remove.

Is the only difference between the two that you use a cuticle remover for wet and not for dry? Just curious as I've never heard the term "dry/wet prep" before.
