Will it stick on acrylic or shall I sculpt ?

Hi , do any nail techs find it possible to place a white tip on a rebalance if it were filed down enough ?
would a white tip stick to the to the L&P ok ?

its a request from a friend .
or shall I tell her its best to just have an L&P sculpted rebalanced smile line swiped in ?
(I am doing this on non paying friends until I master it all )

it would stick, but the shape of the nail would be out if there was acrylic under the tip, you'd get a stepping effect from the side view.

best to remove all the acrylic from the area you want to place the tip or sculpt.

I looked at some threads and couldn't understand why it wasn't really advised ,
I am glad I asked now as I may have tried filing down the acrylic and glueing on the white tips as requested and they would have all been wonky lol
