I've just bleached my roots and toned with 7/1 + 10/12 but they're still a little brassy/dark.. I don't really want to use bleach again as my hair is short and its tricky not to overlap short hair, esp when doing it yourself! 
Could I use a tint to lift my roots, even though they've been bleached/toned? I really only want to go a shade or two lighter and ashier as I want a rooty blonde effect.
