I've had a new brush waiting for me to use for a few months now, after noticing some discolouration on some nails i've done i began using this new one.
I've noticed though the hairs at the tip are a little wonky- with one or 2 stragglers at different lengths and its really bugging me!
Would you recommend just accepting it as a bit of a PITA and getting a new one or would it be ok to just snip the annoying ones off (its a prosereis l+P #8, if it makes a difference) ? Its a new brush and so im a little reluctant to throw it if its not necessary!

Why don't you soak it in some monomer over night and see if it settles the hair down.

You have to remove the gum thats on the new brush to start with

It may take a few goes to get it to settle down

I removed the gum before i started using it so im not worried on that count, just the different lengths of some of the hairs, i'll give it a go leaving it soaking overnight

Try soaking it in monomer first if you think it will help. Make sure you've supported the brush by blutacking it to the side of the dish or a all so that it isn't resting on is flags. Snip with a nail clipper if you have to. Never pull any out (not that you would, just for anybody else reading this who may be a newbie)

This is from a recent thread simular to this. (I am not sure how to link so Ill copy and paste) Its what Gigi Advised

To straighten a bent brush .............

Clean out the gum in the brush and then dip the end into a cup of hot water (REALLY hot as in just off the boil).

Then shape the end of the brush how you want and lay out on a paper towel to dry naturally.

Remember a brush is hair and the hair will respond to heat just as yours does. I find the hot water trick a better option than hair straighteners ,, more gentle and it gives YOU the option to shape the brush exactly how you want and to dry in that shape.

Nickie that is great advice if the whole brush is bent out of shape but I don't think this is the case here....it is 2 wee stragglers that are different lengths. I know they would drive me insane ever time Iused my brush :irked:
No amount of soaking in monomer or hot watrer will make these hairs grow!
Snip them off like Marioned has said.....and forget about them.
