Would like nail artists to be involved in my project

hi, I'm a graphic design BA student and basically had a self initiated brief on my return to uni this year. As I had completed a CND L&P course over the summer and have since become obsessed with EVERYTHING to do with nails, from anatomy to nail art, I decided I would for my project, design and produce a small book. The subject is not important to my tutor, neither is the content of course, the main thing is the design - but to make it more fun for me and something nice for my portfolio, I have decided to do it on NAILS.

It hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be getting all my research together, but this site has been a big big help - so I would like to thank all those involved in admin etc for this brilliant site and sharing their knowledge.

Anyway I had a thought today whilst looking through the nail art gallery on here to maybe include a section at the back of my book on nail art. I would like it to be really visual with some beautiful examples of nail art (rather than the whole book containing pics of my rather mediocre nail art (comprised of flicks and flowers lol) so I hope if any of you would kindly like to be involved with this, I could include some of your nail art, pics-of course would include your name stating who the artist is (not try and palm it off as my own lol).

The book's not going to be published or anything like that (well I can hope one day :lol It will simply be for my uni work - although it will be properly printed and hard back bound. I could send everyone involved copys of any pages I have included of your work for you to see. (sorry a section bound book costs £90 at the book binders so cant offer copys. students are poor lol)

Good Luck with your project, sounds like a lot of work.
We have loads of very talented and artistic geeks on here who I am sure will want to assist.
Sometimes when it is as general as this though people don't want to be the first to offer......If there are particular designs you have seen in the galleries or in an album, why don't you PM the people direct.

As I always say....if you don't ask, you don't get!!!

I don't have an album on here but I have a gallery on my website which is Pamper and Polish | Nails, Beauty & Tanning. If there's any you want to use pm me with your email address and I'll forward them direct.

Unfortunately, you can't save them direct from the website as I disabled this function as certain techs were saving my pics as their own
