Hi

Just a thought really, how many people would love to have a CND shop near to them so they can pick out there colours for varnish and shellac. Sometimes you only want one thing and end up waiting til you want a few things before you place your order because of the postage. Im not saying that the postage is that high, because its very reasonable but all adds up when you just want to order a couple of things. Also would love to be able to buy a few bottles of shellac each week as this would be more financially viable for me and alot of people but doesnt make sence because I have to pay postage everytime, so will have to keep saving for the lot. Sometimes I only need some scrubfresh.

Are CND looking at opening a shop in Essex soon, if not I wouldnt mind selling there stuff for them in a shop. I would get the pick of everything and be in my element. hehe.

I will keep my fingers crossed, as I will have all the colours when I can afford them. Unless of course I come into some money soon. Roll on saturday lotto, I know the first thing I would be doing. lol.:lick:

Here here... although I may become bankrupt!!:D

There used to be a One Stop Shop in Essex and it was fab, although it did mean I spent a wee fortune on each visit.

I wish there were shops not just in Essex but throughout the country where I could go and view all that S2 have to offer. I purchase most things from S2 online as there isn't somewhere near me where I can go and browse, touch and feel everything. Alternatively a business rep would be helpful.

We have a beautiful business emissary called Kay Pennington. If you would like a visit then call samantha and arrange one my friend.

If CND was available at wholesalers up and down the country, there would be allot more moaning from all and sundry that CND was being sold to the wrong people ... can't have it all ways geeks.

Hi geeg
Why dont they only sell to professional like sweet squared do and that way no one can moan, maybe have to show your certificates to get a trade card. You will have alot of happy nail techs if you came to essex. Please. Pretty please. :D

Well S2 do partner with one wholesale company who stick by the S2/CND rules and that is Ellisons, but sadly for many wholesale distributors, the $$$ is more imortant than professional integrity ......... in fact there are many brands that also sell to anyone whether they are trained or not. As long as technicians let them get away with it and support these brands by buying form them, the selling to the public will go on.

we want one in north wales............well, what I really want is to have one JUST FOR ME in north wales......... but , I suppose ill share if forced.

xxxxxxxx

I want one in Newcastle!!! I run out of things at different times and resent paying the postage and packaging for one thing and i'd love to see all the polish and shellac colours! Hope they're at the Scotland show this weekend i want to see loads of stuff before buying

Simple way around that one is to take a class once or twice a year and drive to Leeds and see everything or just have a day out and make part of it a trip to S2. :D

Postage is a legitimate business expense, no one is making anything out of it apart from the government.

With clever ordering of large sizes (which are MUCH more economical), postage can be minimised.

People seem to buy everything off the internet sight unseen these days .. not knowing if a garment will fit, if the colour will be as seen in the photos or even if the quality is good or bad or even if it is what 'they' say it is.

At least with CND you KNOW the quality of anything you buy will be the best, you KNOW that the product will do what it says it will do and the colour charts are done with polish (you can request one any time) so you know what the colour will be as near as you can get to seeing it in the flesh.

I suppose what I am saying is that we'd all love everything on our door step, but S2 like to serve their customers in the best way possible and that means doing things themselves and with carefully chosen and trusted colleagues who think the same way about customer service as they do. XXX

Hi Yes i understand what you are saying but for people like me who are just starting out and dont really earn at the moment, if there was a shop nearer to me then maybe I could purchase a couple of colours then go back for more rather than having to spend so much at once. I understand about postage and the costs are very good from sweet squared but like I said it all adds up if you only want to buy sometimes one thing or a few colours per week. For me its all about looking at the colours and purchasing as much or as little as I want. Such a shame though, maybe one day there will be one in essex. I can only dream. But can you imagine how much I would end up spending over the year, I would end up with one of everything in the shop, my hubby would have a fit.

Just to add something here as an independent CND education ambassador (who would love to have her own sweet shop .. one day:biggrin:)

I for one carry every CND product within my salon and stress to my students ANYTIME they want to drop in and see a colour/powder/product before they buy it in, they are more than welcome, funny enough I've had quite a few pop in over the last 2 weeks !! I know this might not work for all but give your local educator a bell, I'm sure if they can help they will, we aren't JUST there for classes... on going support aswell xx
