Hi all - hope someone can help.

I'm having trouble with my wraps (i use OPI MicroWrap). I did a repair on a couple of my mums nails the other day (not confident enough to do them on clients yet) and it's lifting after one day.

Main lifting is down the side near the cuticle. I only applied 2 layers of thin set resin and buffed up rather than using the thick set resin as well as she is only having a repair.

As far as i'm aware my prep is up to standard....dehydrated nail etc - could it be that i put the product too close to the cuticle?? also i forgot to use BondAid - could it be because of that?

Main problem is how do i fix it? i'm assuming i have to soak off whole nail and start again as not like with acrylic or gel where u can file it away...?

Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks! xx

yes i think its prob down to product getting into contact with cuticle and dont forget to leave a margin there and the sidewall.
You would prob need the bond to dehydrate the nails.
Ive not used to micro wrap so cant really comment, you could try filing off the lifted material fist and take it from there!!
