I know I am probably the only saddo on here but yeehah! Lewis Hamilton has just become the first British World Champion in Formula 1 since Damon Hill in 1996!

And he is the youngest EVER world champion!

Talk about nail biting! I was fully expecting them to land a penalty on him all the way though for no reason whatsover than the fact he is Lewis Hamilton and drives for Maclaren but he did it! Yipee!

I agree the crowd were very unsporting.

I thought Felipe's dad's face was a picture when someone obviously told him that Lewis got 5th within the last few seconds LOL.

I really didn't think he was going to get that 5th place back, but I'm so glad he did!!! It was so tense, probably the most exciting F1 race I've watched....... I'm really chuffed he won!
