You Are 'The Apprentice' Thread

Last week, prior to The Apprentice, I was discussing with my hubby my ideas for portable exercise equipment. I think I would have faired quite well actually :green: with my idea.

As tonight is about creating beauty products, I thought it might be fun to put ourselves in the apprentice's shoes and forward our own ideas on Salon Geek. Don't worry..... nobody gets fired or criticised. This is purely for fun. It would be interesting to see if any of tonights ideas come close to ours.

I have posted this separately from the official Apprentice Thread, because it is different and not to be muddled with the other one please. The idea is to keep comments about the show and participants to the initial thread.

Who wants to go first? Remember that the product must stand out and be innovative.

My worst beauty dilemma is cracked heals, and rough, scaly knees. I would probably create a gel type patch which is applied at night as you go to bed, and which can deliver nourishment and moisture to the dry, cracked and scaly heels, knees and elbows.

I am too lazy to apply heel cream and to exfoliate my knees. A nocturnal job whilst I am asleep would work wonders. This would be my sales pitch!

I would create a spray tanning lotion that dries and takes instantly with no developing time.

I would have a gadget for massage, like a utility belt that had a timer on it that discretly vibrated 15 minutes before the end of the treatment, then 10 mins then 5 mins so you knew how you were doing. It would have somewhere to hold your oil incase you needed to reapply and a pouch for crystals or something like that (oooh getting carried away now).

A wax that you could spread up the entire leg in one go with a hooped spatula and then peel back in one big strip, no hair remaining!

Well I must say, I think our apprentices have got their work cut out for them tonight. 'Team Salon Geek' take the lead :green:.

Ooh, what I would have done with that beauty product task...! Mine would have been a range of chocolate based body creams, rich in cocoa to soften the skin. I'd have chocolate orange, mint choc and chocolate fruit and nut (maybe blueberry and Brazil nut... Yum! Sorry, getting carried away with this one! Xx

[Beautification]

Something you can put in your bath water or in a tub like thing in salons u go sit in it for 2mins make sure at some point you cover all your face get out and the water has tanned you and it doesn't drip down you when you get out a quick easy instant tan,
I think these ideas were ment to be realistic and i don't think mine is,lol.

what like a swimming hat for your hands....'the hand-hat' lol

I would have a donut shaped nail table that spins......so that I could just sit in the middle and I could have so much surface space that I could easily spread all my things out around the circle all organised and tidy and everything to hand and then just swivel it around me to grab the bits I need.......thinking about it I could have sections.....prep and tools.......tips, forms and adhesives..........files.........liquids.........powders..........files.......consumables.
.........buffers.......polishes........ooh yes fantastic lol just swivel n spin! :lol:
