Hi

I have been reading alot about this range recently. Can anyone who uses it give me some more info on the products?

Is it gel or acrylic system? Does it last/lift/yellow?

How much is the opening order/training etc?

Thanks

Kate

Young nails do both gel and l & p systems...... i personally dont use either of their systems but i havnt tried them either, but i have heard nothing but good things about it.

I ordered some branding tools and a sample of finish gel from young nails recently and there is no minimum order.
I have been trying out the finish gel the past couple of weeks and have found it to be great, it has a lovely high shine to it, also it is slightly thicker in consitency which i have found to be better comapred to my usual brand.

Thanks

Kate

I have only used the finish gel , but Sparklybits comes on here reguarly and she is a Young nails user and she would be able to help you more with the other questions.

Hi there,

Ive used Young Nails a bit, I find that lifting isnt as much as a problem as with other systems. Oh I've only used their acrylic by the way, but they do gel too.

Um I wouldnt use their UV top coat, I find it a bit too purply, so we always used 'Outthedoor' top coat over them.

The tips are great, no buffing required.

And the prices are pretty cheap!

Has anyone used their 'Magic Wand'? My partner saw it on the training DVD and keeps saying I 'need' one haha, but just wondering how handy it really is??

Here is some info as well:
http://www.salongeek.com/nail-geek/79220-young-nails.html

Young Nails do a liquid and powder and gel systems. They also have soak off gel ManiQ.

Im a Young Nails gel user and the products are fab. With proper prep work no lifting.
I think their Imagination Art is the best ever.
Finish Gel is great. Does not leave a tacky layer and the shine lasts and lasts.
Finish top coat does not need curing and leaves kind of purple tone.
Magic Wand...could not live without it:lol:

Just visit for more info about the products:

Im training at college, just night classes, and we are using young nails l&p, i really like it but admittedly i have nothing to compare it to, lol! I too have heard many good things about the brand on here. I know they have a trial kit on their website and lots of info and some step by steps too.

Thanks Hazel

Just droped in to have a wee look before I go to bed.

If you are currently using either L&P or GEL system and are a qualified nail tech you can purchase products from head office.

We do not have a min order and as regard to your other questions as the other post's have said no probs with lifting etc.

Hope this helps if you have any questions you can either call head office or pm me direct

Im a Young Nails user and I'M IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!!

I have tried other brands but I prefer Youngs, Its a gorgeous consistency very rich colours, and the imagination nail art is to die for.

You can choose from liquid art, glitter, neon colours, metallics the list is endless.
The gel is a dream to work with. I get no lifting and my clients love the range.
Mani q is lovely a must for overlays and twinkle toes
I could go on and on ....... give head office a ring and get a sample
You wont be sorry x

Is there anyone in the Manchester/Lancashire area who does use this system that I could book in for a set of nails?

Thanks for your advice

Hi Kate

I am not sure about Manchester but our head of Education Claire Kelly is just outside Blackburn in a place called Rawtenstall (Ithink I have the correct spelling) the salon is called the nail Academy.

If this is a bit far from you I would call head office and the may reommend someone in your area.

Tracey

I have to say Clare is fabulous makes it all look so easy, such a lovely lady x

I love YN! The gel is brilliant has everything 6 different viscosities and colours, 2 l&ps (xxx and speed) that work so well, protein bond which provides excellent adhesion to the nat nail, helps when doing fills, acidless! finish top coat very very shiny, no swiping and last but not least as many glitters and colours to make your head spin when doing nail art/embedding.
I teach with YN and its amazing for the students to get to grips with. It def does not yellow and lifting is not an issue with good products its down to YOUR prep and application.
My salon is full of glitter and coloured l&p and its a big seller for my clients. I also find YN to have gr8 cust service and will always keep you on your toes at trade shows with mind blowing ideas and designs.
I'm a big fan and always will be.

im not a youngs user but a customer and i have to say i love it.:green::green: Ive had nearly all systems on my nails over the years and youngs is by far the best. It lasts really really well concidering im really hard on my nails, hardly any lifting and it doesnt discolour at all. I can sometimes go 3-4 weeks in between appointments, this is most likey down to the brill product and the fact that tracey is a fabulous nail tech who knows how to use her product. I travel 45mins each way to get my nails done by tracey as there is no salons that use youngs in my local area ...says it all really.
