Well the end of the financial year is just around the corner and it got me thinking about what I have achieved this year and my goals for next year.
I'm almost at the end of my second year in business and I've had a few disappointments but am also quite proud of some of the things I've accomplished.
This year I became a SOTHYS salon - this was a huge deal for me. I swear by sothys skincare products and it means a lot to me to be able to work with the range and recommend products to my clients that I truly believe in. Sothys also does not usually approve home based salons, so I feel very priveliged to be able to use the range in my salon.
I've noticed a big improvement in my nail enhancements this year too. I'm no longer doing nails that I think are acceptable, I think they're pretty okay and my clients are proud to wear them. There's still plenty of room for improvement, but I know this will come with time and practice.
This year profits in my salon are double what they were last year - hopefully next year they will double again
My main goals for next year are:
To cut at least 30 minutes off my L&P application time.
Attend more training classes - Sothys, CND and hot stone massage are top of the list.
Complete my CND masters - I was booked to do this earlier this year but it was cancelled 3 times, so hopefully this year brings more luck.
Keep building my client base and continue to provide excellent service to new and existing clients.
