I used to think a certain client was my worst, but I think back now and she was probably my best client.
I first saw her in my first week of my first salon job. She wasn't really horrible to me, but was very fussy. As soon as she sat down she started telling me exactly what to do and how to do it. Also, she once told me she would be too embarassed to be seen in public if I didn't fix her nails.
It upset me at the time, but now I think it was great that she would tell me what she expected and would give me a chance to fix it if she wasn't happy (rather than leave unhappy and complain to everyone she knew).
She became a regular though, wouldn't see anyone exept me. I used to dread when I saw her name in the appointment book, but now I like clients like her.
She did do one really bad thing though. I had to leave the room for a minute one day. When I came back in she had the cuticle nippers and was doing her own nails. She liked her old salon better where they used to cut all her cuticle off she told me. I had refused to do it, so she was doing it herself
:grr:
edited to add: I guess what I'm trying to say is even though it seems awful at the time, when you look back it really wasn't that bad.
