Hi, please can someone confirm zones for me. On my nail tech course i was told zone 1 is the closest to the cuticle, then 2 and 3 is the tip, but when I watched the NSI dvd they say that zone 1 is the tip. Please help. Sarah x

zone one is the tip, two the apex (middle) and three nearest to the cuticle

Ask your teacher when she last took any training for herself in nails, i think you may have a surprising answer

It is accepted industry jargon now that zone one starts at the tip followed by 2 and 3. The nail was labelled this way to avoid confusion ...
