Hi! Client virgin base 5, ends about a 6 lightened by the sun, wanting highlights that are not too light or too warm (she has a muted coloring but not too cool) . Thinking about using illumina 7/81 and 8/69 equal parts, 30 vol. Afraid the 8/69 alone would pull too warm?

This will eventually end up being warm. As the tones fade off what you will have is the exposed underlying pigments of her natural hair. I think I'd be tempted to use 10/0 + 12% and then tone afterwards. (Assuming you don't want to use bleach (
