Make up threads

Hi Guys,

just starting out with Bridal Make up course, getting my kit together and need to start doing some research, can anyone advise if there are any specialist sites for make up artists with questions etc like SG.

I have done a general search on SG and not a lot comes back.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hi, there is Makeup Advice Forum which has a forum, although it's nowhere near as active as this one. There are also pro chat boards that you need to make a minimum number of posts and then apply to get access too, those might well be more active/useful.

Can I ask where you're training? Did you go/are you going to School of Makeup or the North West Media Make up School? I would like to do a bridal course but need to save the £££ and I'm not sure whether to pay the huge price of School of Makeup (which seems to have a good reputation and lots of successful graduates) or go for the cheaper (much much cheaper) NWM school which I can't find any reviews of...

You're very welcome! I think you need to subscribe to the thread - at the top of the thread, click "Thread Tools" then "Subscribe to this Thread". Not 100% sure though, I've never done it! Hopefully someone else will be able to confirm.
