Tanning and other treatments

Hi girls, So I currently do spray tanning in the evenings (I work full time) and I do love it, but I would also like to learn something new, but something that isn't too costly to train in as it's all just a hobby at the moment (but I would like to be good at what ever I train in and learn properly) so what do you think I should do next? I was thinking about waxing? Have thought about nails (shellac and minx) but its quite expensive to set up x help! Cx

If you live in Scotland, apply for ila funding for a course. Im doing a waxing course on ila funding.

Express lashes can be quite fair priced, and you can progress to semipermanents. Nail courses are expensive but the return can be really profitable!

How about eye brow and lash tinting? Or eyelash perming? It really depends on what route you want to go down and who your target market is.

Gelish? X

Nails goes along nicely with tanning, I know gels and things are pricey to set up but they are well worth it if u have a client base!

On a side note - can I ask, is it better to do gelish before or after a tan? Does it really matter?

Im in the same position too! LOVE tanning but would really like to extend my treatment list, i was going to opt for lashes but id prefer to do nails

Do you know if you need any qualifications before hand to start on something like gelish or shellac (excuse spelling)? Or can they put you through basic mani and pedi on the course? I cant find anywhere near me that just does mani and pedi course and i simply cant afford to do my beauty NVQ yet

Same I'd need to do a Manu peso first but can't find anywhere to do that, so many things to do! I'd be too scared to do lashes! X

i always do gelish prior to tanning.

My Mani Pedi course was an evening course over a certain amount of weeks, at a College. It cost about £175 at the time, it was really good, and covered everything in real detail. The college I chose specialise in full time Beauty and Hair dressing. Do you have any colleges that could offer you something in the evenings? x

My college only offer a full time beauty NVQ, its £1400 plus VAT!! They dont do evenings and i have a little girl so childcare is an issue. It is so frustrating that i can't seem to find anything... May have to do lashes afterall
