Anybody know? It's my first day tomorrow and I'm doing a day's training. Would be nice if that was the case!

You should be paid whilst doing your training. Unfortunately there are a few salon owners who think its fine not to pay you :twisted:

Best thing you can do is speak to your employer about it but understand that it is the norm to be paid whilst training.
Make sure you find out what the salon policy is on paying you whilst training and what's in your contract. Good luck

I pay my staff when they are training, but I do know that some don't. I also pay their expenses etc
