Hello all,
I have a new client on Monday who is 83 (bless her) & has acrylic woven hair extensions as her own hair is very fine & she hates wigs.
She has a short style (typical of her age) short round layer & at first glance she looks like someone who has a shampoo & set once a week.
Her hair's grown around an inch & a half since having the weave & she wants me to cut the extensions to refresh the shape.
I am going to do this dry & literally curl by curl to get the desired shape.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on styling (or cutting) as obviously I won't be able to use my standard tools on synthetic hair.
Would it be a big NO-NO to put Velcro rollers in and apply a warm (not hot) heat to set the hair? I could then use a pin-tail comb to tease the hair out & maybe a bit of back-combing?
Any suggestions would be fab!
