Advice on renting a salon room?

Hi Guys,
I am looking into renting a room and starting up on my own. I am assuming utility bills will be included but the salon I know are thinking about £35 pd to rent the room.
I have heard then £80 pw from other salons. Does anyone know the average?

I have no idea about local rates for your area. I charge around 150 a week.
A busy, popular salon will charge much more than a quiet one, but may be better value if your own clientele is small. If you have a large clientele already, then a cheaper room is fine.

Hi kiki,

If you dont have a big client base I'd perhaps ask the salon to work on a percentage basis to start with, not sure about all over but £30-£40 per day is about the norm here hth xx
Also just wanted to add I'm renting space at a new leisure centre on a percentage basis and they are also making my brouchers for free! so maybe check out your local leisure centres too xx
