Hi all,

I have completed my Acrylic overlay course with essential nails, and now looking to do a gel course.
Im not sure weather to just do another one with essential nails or to do a foundation with creative?
i hear so much about creative its got me wondering!
Im happy with EN and found them really helpfull, but im considering doing the creative course.
Will i then have to do another acrylic course with them?

Does anyone know if you can get insured if youve done a home course?

just cant make my mind up!

any views?

Hi

This is the way I understand it.... I could be wrong. If you were to do the foundation five day course with Creative in Brisa Gel, then you could do the induction course with Creative which lasts just one day.

This way is not a conversion as such. When you do a conversion you just do one day in the system you are already trained in. ie Liquid and powder. I dont think Creative recognise the Essential nails course because it does not contain classroom tution. So you would not be able to do the l&P the conversion way.

By doing the brisa 5 day and l&p 1 day induction you will be doing the say thing anyway. Sorry this sounds so confusing.

The best thing to do is give Creative Nail Design a call. They are really helpful and will answer your questions. You need the leeds no, but dont have it to hand. I'm sure another geek will help.

I did all my training at Loughton with Creative and had a great time.

Hope this helps

why don't you give Designer Nails head office a call, they can point you in the right direction and make sure you get the right answers.
they will be able to confirm queries not only about doing the Brisa course but also the L+P conversion.
I would imagine the insurance would be ok providing you have a certificate to prove you passed the course.

Hi, the number you need for Creative is 01132750433 - they are really helpful they'll advise you!

Hi there, i also done the EN home learn course although i never actually completed it. I did the creative foundation in april and i have to say i wasted my money with the homelearn as the training you get with creative is ten times better. Although people on here have done the EN and loved it too. In my opinion the classroom is a lot better and so are the products. I think i wasted a lot of money doing both when i could of done the one.

you should have got a leaflet from prof. beauty when you passed your course to obtain insurance as this course is guaranteed to gain you insurance that you need, also ,zoecu, why do you think creative is 10 times better? im not having a go im just interested in this sort of comment.

Well i thought it was better because the amount of training you recieve and it is just my opinion but i prefered someone guiding me because i got a little disheartened learning at home alone and it made me just give up. i felt i needed someone to tell me i was doing the right thing and thats exactly what i recieved from creative. With homelearn you can complete the course in whatever time you like which may be good for some people with busy schedules but for me id rather get it done so its still fresh in my mind. HTMS!
