Hello,

When sculpting on a form, I use a white builder gel that has a very thick viscosity (Young Nails White Sculptor gel).

But the viscosity makes it difficult to apply. Even picking it seems to hurt my brush. Sure, it doesn't run, the client can even shake the hand and nothing moves. But building the tips is a lengthy fight, the gel wants to stay glued on the brush...

How would you work with thick gels like that one?

Best regards,
-Frank.

You could try warming it slightly - like sitting it on a radiator or placing it between your thights for about 20 minutes before using. I do this with Brisa Sculpting white as I find it quite thick, and it makes it a lot easier to use.

Hello Nemotail,

I already tried to warm it up on a radiator, but it was still very thick.
It's a pity because the gel is very nice. It's strong and it cures very well, even on non-transparent forms.
