Best Beauty Therapist Qualifications? and Schools?

I was just wondering what the best qualifications are to have in the industry I want to go into Beauty Therapy and I have looked at the CIDESCO & CIBTAB Qualifications but they are £9,700 I was thinking about doing a BTEC in Beauty Therapy Sciences then doing the CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diploma.
I'm gutted I have missed the starting dates for this year though does anyone know if you can do a BTEC in one year and if so where?
I'd rather study intensively for a year then at least I can get started right away

I just did my city and guilds NVQ at college. A full year cost me £1500 basically because i already had qualifications higher than this and i was over the age of 18 at college. How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

So you would probably have to pay fully for a beauty qualification. Unless you could get help with funding etc. I loved my nvq at college.
