Hi, I’ve recently trained in classic lashes but I’m feeling disheartened about the quality of my training. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos and some advice contradicts what I was told.

For example I was told lashes can’t be brushed for 72 hours after treatment, I’ve been having lashes for years and the tech has always brushed them after doing them. I was also told to swipe the entire extension with glue but then on YouTube videos I’ve watched they say to just put glue on the base.

I’m really confused, I want to be able to offer a good service to clients. I know this is down to practice but I feel that I wasn’t given a great start. Does anyone have any advice on the above?

Thanks :) x

The swiping method is outdated, I was taught to swipe but I don’t bother doing it now as it doesn’t affect my retention and I brush the lashes at the end to make sure they are all sitting straight and advise the client they can brush after 24 hours
