Cluster lash with individual glue!

Hiya geeks,
So, my cousin phoned me yesterday in absolute tears. Her eyelashes had mostly fell out and her eyes were red raw. She had gone to a salon and had 'individual' lashes done and was told these 'party' lashes would last for up to 2 weeks. I then discovered a therapist had glued cluster lashes with individual adhesive and told her they'd last and were harmless. What are you thoughts on this? Do many people do this?

Personally I would never do this as if clients pick or fiddle all lashes have gone. It’s just a big no no in my eyes x x

I'm not qualified but there are tons of "lash techs" in my area offering individual or cluster lashes and doing exactly this. Unfortunately most clients are unaware of the damagr it does until its too late

I’ve heard of techs doing this, and I’ve had one girl come to me to get them removed. What a mess!
I honestly think she had about 10 natural lashes left on each eye. Not good.
