Hi a quick question I hope one of you might be able to help me with please. So I have a client who has an undiagnosed, extremely painful shoulder problem. It has improved the past couple of days but because she has been to the docs and physio I've told her I wouldn't do a massage treatment now without a letter from her doctor to say it's ok, she has asked me if a letter from her physio is good enough. So my question is, is a letter from a physio good enough? Are they a qualified medical person, I'm paranoid about being sued lol!

I would ring your insurance company and ask them the question.

They'll be able to inform you of whether the letter from the physio is sufficient or whether a letter from her GP is required.

Thanks for the reply :) I rang the guild of beauty/holistic therapists, that's who I have my insurance with, they said it has to be a GP.
