Hi all,
I'm brand shiny new to this forum, I found it when I was looking for the answer to the question I'm guna ask you
So here goes...
I've been doing nails for over 8 years, I only do my own now but I did go to college to learn how to do it properly and I am qualified
I have just started to do the acrylic dipping technique, I use brush on nail glue and acrylic powder. My nails are strong, I very rarely lose or break a nail tip but what I'm finding is the top coat ends up dull, almost foggy, I've tried alsorts, buffing more, using a three way buffer, using acetone, not using acetone but nothing seems to stop this foggyness...
I apply the tip, buff the smile line, apply the acrylic overlay - glue, dip, glue, repeat, then buff and apply the top coat, I have loads of them, Star Nails, OPI, Oh So Wet, all of them make the nail look dull, please help, I'm totally baffled
