Hello,
I have been working self employed in a hair salon & mobile for over 2 years now, holding down a full time office job, and after long thought, decided I really hate doing this and want to be working at what I do best and enjoy.
I have turned away a lot of clients, who I simply cannot fit in to my part time hours and now am taking the plunge to do this 4 - 5 days a week.
Has anyone else done this (I have read on here a lot of people have done a job along side beauty).
I am looking to contact nursing homes for mobile, advertise my little socks off in all the local shops, slimming clubs, health centre etc.
Can anyone suggest a good way to get my name out and my new hours at the salon? Anything that has worked for you??
I use my local area that does a directory but I have missed the cut off point so it will not get published until January, but that is as good a time as any.
I really would appreciate any help / tips from you guys.
