Hi geeks,

Recently my hand have been puffing up when I'm massaging my clients. It doesn't seem to matter if it's my first client of the day, or my last, and it makes no difference what oil I use... And my hands are starting to feel really tired and like they need massaged!

Does anyone else get this? I do around 5 hours of massage most days and I am a bit worried about repetitive strain...

Hi, I get this too. It started when I worked in a spa and massaged up to 7 hours a day. I got diclofenac anti-inflammatories from my gp and they helped a lot!
Make sure you warm up your hands and wrists and do some stretching before you start massaging, that helps too.

Hello. Oh that's interesting, I was worried it was arthritis or something! I never ever warm up my hands and wrists but that's a good point I will try that, thanks :)
