This is probably a dumb question but being new to nails I just have to know...

Can no lite gel be used while doing an infill on light cured gel nails?

Thanks so much!!

No Lite Gel is not really a gel, it is just a thick adhesive with a gel-like consistency.

Gel that needs to be cured with a UV Lamp is different and much stronger.

Your question is, if I understand you correctly, can you do an infill on UV Gel using No Lite GEl? Well .... I don't know why you would, but you could ... there is no chemical or safety reason that would say you couldn't do it, BUT there will come a point where the strong gel meets the not so strong adhesive and the nail will be more likely to break at that point .. could be painful.

My advice is to stick to your system and rebalance with the same product. This would be the professional way and the best way to do things.

Thank you! That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure.

A customer wanted to do her own infills on my light cured gels and, although I tried to discourage her, I wasn't sure if I was just being overly protective or if there was a great reason not to do it herself.

Appreciate your explanation!
