So it looks great but first attempt my polishes wouldn't spread I did get them to look kind of ok dipped the nail scraped the excess of top of the water pulled it out a murky mess was left tried loads of times same result
So tried different polishes some spread some didn't again managed to get the ideal effect in the water but again a purple cloudy mess with a hump at the free edge!!!
I hate not being able to do something
Please help geeks

When I did it I dripped polish 1, then 2, then 3. Using an orange wood stick I put it in the polish and dragged lines out from the middle to the edge.

I didn't remove any excess.

Dipped nail, out and cleaned, top coat.

I was using OPI x

Oh you make it sound so easy
I've watched loads of videos on Instagram but it's nothing like their results
My last one had slight marbelling but then a thick drippy later over it!! Grrrrrr
Should I pull the finger out quickly at an angle ?

I don't think I had an angle and was not fast or slow particularly.

Have you watched Sarah R's video? She's great.
