10 competetors within 3 mile radius seems a hell of a lot to me.
I am starting a business from home, wonder if it was such a good idea now. They are mainly all in hairdressers, so they already have the clientelle. :-( its guna be soooooooooo hard getting them in. The salon down the road is really smart, amazing in fact, but the service isnt very good, they spend a lot on promotion and events, how am i going to compete? i wont have overheads (much) i will be doing it mostly part time and my partner will have a good wage very soon, but i actually want to make a profit.
Ive spent about £600 now and am at the stage of thinking should i???before i spend more time, stress and money.
I know though, if i dont, i will always wonder....
Any advice from home salon owners, or a kick up the backside would be helpfull.
