Most Salons will recieve some referrals, it is important to remember why your customers would recommend you, it is due to the experience and treatment they have received and they want to give the opportunity for their friends to have the same experience. Customers may need a reminder or incentive to remember to recommend you, here is a few tips to ensure you receive as many referrals as possible!

If you have a refer a friend scheme in place ensure your clients know about it, display details of the scheme throughout your salon, send SMS and email reminders to clients about these promotions and include it in your newsletter.

Encourage your customers to refer as many clients as possible through running a competition. Ensure you have a fabulous prize for the winner to motivate your clients to refer all their friends.

It can also be a good idea to promote discounts for friends who visit at the same time, give an incentive for example 2 for 1 on treatments, this will get new clients in the door and hopefully returning.

Great service and expertise is the backbone of your business. It’s what is expected and appreciated by clients it is those littler extra personal touches that make the difference and that ultimately will win you referrals.
