Hi everyone,
I have been pondering for some time about how to get into the beauty industry. I am currently living in France and where i live doesn't seem to have any beauty/ hair salons that tick the boxes (in my opinion). I went to boarding school and used to do all of my girlfriends nails and hair before going out (or to get out of doing homework!). I always give myself a mani/ pedi and it does nothing but relaxes me, and I know how great it feels to have perfect nails. Hairwise... well i never go for extreme hair do's myself but if a friend asks me to do something for her i can usually style it exactly how she wants it; and again it's a real pleasure doing a good job.
I would eventually like to have my own business but of course i need to get my qualifications and a decent amount of experience behind my belt. Where is the best place to go? and can i do a course on hair and nails or would i have to specialise in one or the other? i have done research for the uk - but ideally i'd really like to stay in France if possible... i know that's a long shot!!
