Look into Propecia from Boots. My OH has been using this with great success for several years now. His father is almost completely bald as are his 3 younger brothers yet he has nearly a full head of hair and all hair loss has now stopped and even has a little re-growth. It's not cheap and you do have to have an appointment with the pharmacies but it has a very good success rate.
