Is Shellac vegan?

Hello I've looked through the threads but need something more official. Does any one have any information from sweet squared for proof it is vegan and not tested on animals in any part of the process?

Any help appreciated thanks

Also one of my clients was concerned about beetles in Shellac which I knew wasn't the case but asked them to confirm anyway

Thank you Blossom, I did get to talk to sweet squared and they said the same. My client still wasn't happy with the statement as it doesn't say it's Vegan although when I asked they said no animal products are used!! I have the gel bottle too so she will prob go down that route!
