lamella dystrophy?

Hi all, I'm new here as you can see! Am a complete beginner, just doing my VTCT man /pedi certificate - but i need a bit of help.
I have to find out what lamella dystrophy is, but all that keeps popping up in my search engine is reams of medical jargon (which doesn't even explain what it is!) or stuff about eyes!
So if anyone could direct me to a site that explains it reasonably clearly I'd be very grateful! :biggrin:

Hi welcome to the site.

LD is basically flaking/peeling of the nail plate layer. if you click on search at the top right and type in Lamellar distrophy you will probably get a longer more detailed explanation.

I agree, im doing the same course and i got nearly all my answers for my nail diseases/disorders coursework from this site.
