Lost my spray tan gun 'key' to clean it

I have a spray tan machine which I bought years ago and have a black little 'key' thing which I use to take it apart to clean it. I have realised I've lost it and it really needs a good clean. Does anyone know if all guns have this and is it universal as I need to rebuy one and have no idea where from.
