I've been using matrix for a few months now (orig used wella & l'oreal) but i'm finding the blonde colours a bit limiting. Does anyone else find this or is it just me?

Have you had training with Matrix yet??
I have a salon in Cumbria, and we swapped to Matrix.
We got a lady called Lesley Stitt in for training, theory first and then she came to do practical, she's excellent.
There is allsorts you can do with the blondes, and you can add different colours with the ULN high lift to make some really cool pastel colours.
Get in touch with the people you get your colours from and see if you can fet in touch with her, I use Ray And Co, I'd highly reccommend Lesley,
