how long do you recommend they go?
and do you charge the same price as you would for regular infills?

i havent had 1 person keep their infill appt (nail biters)
except this 68 yr old lady who i will see at 9.30am this morning but ive been saying 2 weeks and its obviously too long for most

i'll let u kno how her nails are when i get back

but in the meantime, how do you handle biters????
thanx

Hiya,
I tend to see nail biter each week untill they have had the nails on a month or so. It gives you the chance to check for any damage before it gets too bad.

im dreading this morning now

bet they are a right mess!x

I say weekly for about 6 weeks (some people have to stay on it MUCH longer!!) and charge half price. There's very little growth and they've not normally fiddled with them too much in those 7 days, so appointment normally only takes about 45 mins anyway. However weekly appointments are a big time commitment so make sure they know this, people don't come back for this reason too.

Good luck BTW

Don't worry every client is different, If she has not contacted you they are probably fine :wink2:

well, iwent and guess what???

THEY ARE FAB!

no lifting apart from 2 tiny bits on one nagger finger and other hands pinkie

no breakages!

plus she had been helping her son and daughter in law move house!

and downright bloody great!

AND coz she had looked after them so well- it only took me an hour!!!!!

i am sooooooooo chuffed!

she said she had tried to look after them by using her gloves and her solar oil
bless her
said her hubby kept waking her up in the night to see if they were still on!?!

she was pretty bad too- tiny beds and very wide nails

so a big :p to all those other nail biters whose nails ive done and hadnt kept their infill appt

was making me think i hadnt done a good enough job!
she has proved that if u care for them, nail biters can have enhancements too!

:D :D :D

anyway i have another younger woman on wednesday who is a biter
i think i will advise her to have weekly appts for at least the first 4 weeks and charge £10 (instead of £15)

but would it be ok (if she is reluctant) to book her in for 2 weeks time and then if she has problems, she can call me and i can come out and charge accordingly?

what do you think?
