I have hair that's extremely dark brown (Additional info: I'm white, have thick and oily hair). I want to be natural with the products I use, so it's difficult as to how I'm going to get this done: going blonde. I want to go light so I can dye my hair red, and, if not that, so I have more choices with my natural dyes that don't have ammonia for flexibility. I have a sensitive scalp, so I can't handle much pain there. Is it possible to lighten my hair? Will it hurt to get it done professionally? Are there natural products out there for this, and are they less pain than the chemically-based ones? Thanks!

You are better off going to a salon that uses herbatint or aveda . its not really possible to lightten your hair naturally . Natural products do as much if not more damage than syntheic ones for example henna and lemon juice . Also remember , cyanide and arsonic are natural substances .
