I'm hoping to get some advice on the type of nail enhancement I should go for. I'm hoping to swap my acrylic (I sometimes wear gel also) nails for silk or fibreglass. The only problem I have is that last few times I've had silk, they have cracked into what looks like a mosaic and pieces fallen off in about 3 days of having them put on.
Can anyone advise if this is normal for silks to crack? Are fibreglass stronger?
I'm quite gentle with them (I don't put strain on them, if i'm doing housework i'll wear gloves etc) so I'm reluctant to pay money for them to last a few days.
Is anyone a nail technician in either Sheffield, Chesterfield or Nottingham that does fibreglass (or silks, if they can guarantee they aren't going to fall apart)
