Opening event promotions/upsells

Hi all,

I am launching my new venture on Friday and would like to have some offers available for bookings made at the event, however i cant decide if i should offer a discount (20% off all treatments bkd) or more of an up sell (book a facial and receive a free bns massage etc)

Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions they are willing to share?

I'd go with the upsell, giving a discount is good for clients but does nothing for you. Giving a free treatment gives a chance for client too try new things and also chance of repeat booking for said treatment. Xcxx

Thats what i thought.

Any suggestions on good 'upsell' options? I think gel manicures will be popular so was trying to think of something that would compliment that?
