Hi, been given some bali tan solution to try in my spray tan unit but it is green round the cap. Do you think it has gone off?

Depends, if it's a green base, it could just be from that. Does it have the manufacture date on the bottle - or how long did the other person have it. You could test it out on someone you know as a patch test and see what happens. But I would say it's just from where air has gotten onto the exposed spray and turned it green around the cap - as I said, if the tan solution is a green base then it'd turn greenish when in the air after a while.

Give it a good shake, out inot your spraygun or airbrush then spray some on a tissue.

The colour guide of many solutions goes green on prolonged contact with air. So if its JUST green round the lid then there's a good chance whats inside is OK. If when you spray it on the tissue its still green, then yes its off!

Most spray tans have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months once opened hth
