Recommended Text Books For NVQ L1 Hairdressing

Hi Lovelies, My daughter has just started college for NVQ 1 hairdressing and they have not advised on any recommended reading for her course.

i had a leo palladino book 20 yrs ago , lol to be honest all level 2 books are pretty much the same , also maybe get her a specific book on coloring as i always struggled with that , lol xxx

I had 'Begin Hairdressing - The Official Guide to Level 1' which the college issued us with if your daughters been specifically told to buy a level 1 book, although I definately think it may be worthwhile just buying a Level 2 book, I originally bought 2 prior to my course just to read ahead and found them to be a complete waste of money whereas buying a Level 2 book includes what is needed in the Level 1 course and more!!

I was issued with 'NVQ/SVQ Level 2 Hairdressing Candidate Handbook' and as dee mentioned above 'Hairdressing: The Official Guide to to S/NVQ Level 2'. Amazon and ebay are really good for getting these cheaper too!
