Is there, or should there be, a price difference between rent a chair and rent a room?

In my eyes as a landlady, a chair offers X amount of space, say 25sq ft, but a room offers a lot more space/area, a 10ft X 10ft room is 100 sq ft. So in theory you should be looking at a lot more rent.

Or does the beauty side not make the same as hair.

Honestly, it depends on the situation and is always negotiable.

Presumably, in a similar sized space you could have either two or three hairdressers each renting a chair and therefore servicing 3 clients but you can only have one client lying on the couch in a beauty room.
