Have a client tomorrow with both, she says the scar has heeled but it is still pink, it's six months old.

Also she has vitiligo, I've not sprayed anyone with this skin condition before, I spoke to the tan company and they say it won't cover it.

Any tips on how to spray over this area would be great.

And the scar, I'm a bit unsure about that?

Thanks

If the scar is healed I would just spray as normal, it won't hide the scar but it will tone down the pink colour. Spray lightly and a little further away. If it is not completely healed over (do not spray onto open skin), then maybe a barrier would be best.

Same for the vitiligo, the tan won't hide the condition, but with a client that I have done, it again gives it some colour and tones the brightness down quite a lot. But it certainly won't be a camouflage for it. The only thing to completely cover vitiligo is specialist makeup.

My client that has the condition loved her tan, she had the areas of no pigment all over one side of her body, quite pronounced on one hand, arm and leg. The other side didn’t seem to be affected, but she said she felt the tan helped to hide it to some degree.

Oh that's great as I thought Jen, it's nice to hear some advice about tanning over vitiligo as I've never really come across it in tanning before.
