Just wondering if any salon owner pay their staff commission on top of their hourly rate.

It’s something we are looking into but do not really know what the industry standard % would be.

Any help or advice would be greatly received.

First salon i worked in, i think the stylists were paid 20% commission after they had made their wages, second salon paid 15% after you'd doubled your wages..
