Hi I have been offered a room in my local hair salon. I've looked into going self employed. I've looked online for information but totally confused. Any help and advice on starting out, working for yourself etc would be great. Thanks in advance xx

I rent a room in a hair salon and I am also self-employed! I am now into my 5th month and happy to offer any advice I can.
Firstly get a contract with the salon owner. It will help with any problems that may (will) crop up.
Sit quietly in the room while the salons in use! Can you hear the hair dryers, chatter etc?
I do a lot of massage and these noises annoy me sometimes and I am alway wondering what my clients thinking.
