Hi everyone, hope you are all ok, not been on for a while.
My last question was will a salon work on all rental chair stylists bassists . We are moving ahead with this idea, as I don't want to leave the area I in now.
We have moved forward with the shop left to us. My husband has converted upstairs into 2 one bed flats and now it's the ground floor area.
It's been fully modernised, plaster, electric and plumbing etc, he has also
Knocked down a couple of walls and made it open plan.
My question is, is there a formula for working out how many stylist you can fit in an area. It's approx 150 square ft. ( not counting the toilets, and kitchenette, cloakroom, reception area.
Also is there a suggested layout for maximum workflow, just to avoid people crossing other people path, trying to avoid people travelling from one end of the shop to the other to get their hair rinsed etc.
In my shop, with it being a funny layout, I didn't have much choice on where to put things.
Thanks, keep up the good work:Love:
