Will a hair stylist usually match hair extension colors for you and blend them once there in if I do them myself? I have tape-in extensions that I have been getting professionally done but it is getting very expensive for me. I am charged $120 for take out and then $120 for them put back in then I have to pay for my hair colored and highlighted on top of that because I have a lot of grey hair which I am charged around $100 for that and then throw in tips it's getting expensive. I can only go about 6 weeks because the extensions start growing out and slipping tape.

There is a technique I want to try myself in the near future with a different type of tape-in wefts that I think I can do myself. I still would want professional color in between and will need help blending because I am not good at cutting my own hair.

Suggestions would be great! Thanks for taking the time for any answers.
